Day 1  -  Welcome to Buenos Aires!

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a transfer that will take you to your centrally located hotel.

Later that evening, embark on a unique cultural experience! A transfer will pick you up for an unforgettable Argentine dinner.

Here's what awaits you:

  • A warm welcome: Start with a refreshing wine-based cocktail and savor a delicious Patagonia trout tartar.

  • Empanada Making Class: Learn the art of making traditional empanadas with your choice of fillings: beef stew or a delightful Capresse (cheese, cherry tomatoes, and basil).

  • Picada Platter: Indulge in a selection of typical Argentine meats and cheeses.

  • Main Course: Savor a generous portion of tenderloin accompanied by perfectly roasted vegetables.

Today, embark on a captivating introduction to Buenos Aires!

For three exciting hours, our professional team will guide you through the city in a small group (no more than 12 guests). Our knowledgeable guides, fluent in English, will share fascinating insights and stories about Buenos Aires that you won't find in any guidebook.

This tour combines driving and short walks, offering a comprehensive overview of the city's iconic landmarks. Explore Plaza de Mayo, wander through the vibrant La Boca neighborhood, and gain a deeper understanding of key locations.

This tour is an excellent starting point for your Buenos Aires adventure! It provides a fantastic overview of the city, helping you orient yourself and discover areas you'd like to explore further.

Later tonight, immerse yourself in the magic of Argentine tango! A transfer will take you to a prestigious venue in the historic San Telmo neighborhood for a captivating dinner and tango show.

Day 3 - Buenos Aires - San Carlos de Bariloche

Today, we depart for San Carlos de Bariloche. A transfer will take us to Buenos Aires Airport (AEP/EZE) for our flight to this picturesque destination. Upon arrival in Bariloche, a transfer will be waiting to transport us to our accommodation.

The remainder of the day is yours to explore the charming city of Bariloche at your own pace.

Day 4 - Small circuit Bariloche

Today, we embark on a captivating half-day city tour of Bariloche.

Following a hotel pickup, we'll drive along the scenic Avenida Exequiel Bustillo, enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Nahuel Huapi. We'll make several stops to admire the stunning scenery before reaching the foot of Cerro Campanario.

Optional Activity: You have the option to purchase a lift ticket and ascend Cerro Campanario for panoramic views of the surrounding lakes, islands, and peaks.

Continuing our journey, we'll head to the picturesque Llao Llao Peninsula, home to the iconic Llao Llao Hotel.

We'll return to the city center, crossing charming bridges over serene lagoons and rivers.

Day 5 - San Carlos de Bariloche

Today, you have a free day to explore San Carlos de Bariloche at your own pace. Choose from a variety of optional tours available, or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere of this charming city.

Recommended Optional Excursion: Victoria Island and Myrtle Island

Embark on a scenic boat trip from Puerto Pañuelo. After an hour of cruising across Lake Nahuel Huapi, we'll arrive at the Quetrihue Peninsula, home to the enchanting Arrayán Forest.

The Arrayán, a unique saffron-colored tree, creates a magical forest unlike any other.

Next, we'll sail to Victoria Island. Explore the island's trails, leading you to Playa del Toro, where you can discover ancient cave paintings created by the indigenous people. This unique experience, set against the backdrop of a stunning volcanic sand beach, is truly unforgettable.

Day 6 - Andean Crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Varas

Today, we embark on a scenic journey to Puerto Varas.

After breakfast, we'll travel to Puerto Pañuelo, passing along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. En route, we'll be captivated by the charming Swiss-style architecture and vibrant gardens that characterize this picturesque region.

Around 10:00 AM, we'll board the Gran Victoria for a scenic cruise across Lake Nahuel Huapi. As we navigate the lake, we'll be awestruck by the grandeur of the surrounding landscapes and the lush green forests.

Upon reaching Puerto Blest, we'll continue our journey by bus along the scenic River Frías to Puerto Alegre. From there, we'll board the Victoria del Sur for a cruise across Lake Frías, enjoying breathtaking views of Cerro Tronador.

At Puerto Frías, we'll complete the necessary border formalities before continuing by bus to Peulla, with stunning views of the Andes Mountains unfolding before us.

We'll then embark on a scenic cruise across Lake Todos los Santos. Weather permitting, we'll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes, as well as the majestic Cerro Tronador.

Finally, we'll arrive in Puerto Varas, passing by the picturesque Lake Llanquihue, with its stunning views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominating the landscape.

A transfer will then take us to our hotel in Puerto Varas.

Day 7 - Osorno Volcano and Petrohue Falls

Today, we embark on an exciting adventure to witness the wonders of Southern Chile. We'll visit the majestic Osorno Volcano, renowned for its perfectly conical shape, and marvel at the stunning Petrohué Waterfalls.

Our journey begins on the southern shores of Lake Llanquihue, where we'll learn about the region's rich history and the influence of German settlers on its agriculture.

Within Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we'll be awestruck by the cascading Petrohué Waterfalls, with their mesmerizing turquoise waters. We'll then travel to the source of the Petrohué River, exploring the serene shores of Lake Todos los Santos.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch (not included) in the charming village of Ensenada before ascending the Osorno Volcano to its ski resort.

On our return to Puerto Varas, we'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Petrohué River valley and the picturesque Lake Llanquihue.

Day 8 - Puerto Varas - Puerto Natales

Today, we embark on our journey to Punta Arenas.

A transfer will take us to Puerto Montt Airport (PMC) for our flight to Punta Arenas (PUQ). Upon arrival in Punta Arenas, a transfer will be waiting to transport us to our accommodation in Puerto Natales.

Day 9 - Torres del Paine National Park and Milodon Cave

Today, we delve into the awe-inspiring Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our adventure will take us to breathtaking viewpoints such as Mirador del Lago Sarmiento de Gamboa, Saltos del Río Paine, and the Upper Mirador Cerro Almirante Nieto, offering stunning vistas of the iconic Cuernos del Paine and the entrance to Laguna Amarga.

Within the park, we'll embark on guided treks, exploring the diverse flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem. A delicious boxed lunch will be provided during our exploration.

Adventure Supplement: Trek to Las Torres Viewpoint in Torres del Paine National Park

This challenging yet rewarding trek takes us deep into the heart of Torres del Paine.

We'll depart Puerto Natales and travel north to Estancia Torres del Paine, our starting point. After a brief introduction from our guide, we'll begin our hike, crossing the Asencio River on a picturesque bridge.

The trail winds through a breathtaking lenga tree forest, leading us to El Chileno Campsite. We'll continue our ascent, reaching a lookout point at 700 meters above sea level.

From here, the trail becomes steeper, culminating at the Las Torres Base, offering stunning views of the iconic towers (Central, Monzino, and Dagostini), the Peineta, and the Nido de Cóndores mountains, weather permitting.

We'll enjoy a well-deserved rest before retracing our steps back to the starting point and returning to Puerto Natales.

*Reaching the Las Torres Base lookout point depends on the physical fitness of participants and current weather conditions.

Day 10 - Puerto Natales

Today, you have a free day to explore Puerto Natales at your own pace. Choose from a variety of optional tours, or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere of this charming town.

Recommended Optional Excursion: Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier Navigation

Embark on a scenic boat tour from Puerto Natales. En route, you'll have the opportunity to see the historic Frigorífico Bories, a once-thriving meat processing plant. Keep an eye out for a colony of imperial cormorants, a small sea lion colony, and diverse Patagonian flora, including coigüe, cinnamon tree, lenga, ñirre, and calafate.

Witness the grandeur of the Balmaceda Glacier from the boat. To view the Serrano Glacier, a short 20-minute walk leads you through a picturesque landscape bordering a small lake formed by glacial meltwater.

Enjoy a delicious Patagonian lunch at a charming farm in Última Esperanza Bay before returning to Puerto Natales.

Day 11 - Puerto Natales - El Calafate

Today, we embark on our journey to El Calafate. A transfer will take us to the bus station in Puerto Natales, where we'll board a bus for our onward travel. Upon arrival in El Calafate, a transfer will be waiting to transport us to our accommodation.

Day 12 - Perito Moreno Glacier

Today, we dedicate our day to witnessing the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This colossal ice field descends from the Patagonian Ice Cap, the third largest ice sheet on Earth, spanning an impressive 22,000 square kilometers.

A truly unique spectacle: Due to favorable local conditions, the Perito Moreno Glacier is renowned for its dynamic behavior, with a continuous cycle of growth and collapse.

We'll approach the glacier face, standing just meters away from this natural wonder. The thunderous roar of ice calving into the lake and the frequent collapses of the glacier face into the turquoise water create a truly unforgettable experience.

In the afternoon, we'll ascend to "Bajo de las Sombras" and embark on a catamaran cruise on Lago Rico. From the water, we'll have an unparalleled view of the glacier's majestic ice wall and its impressive icebergs.

Today, you have a free day to explore El Calafate at your own pace. Choose from a variety of optional excursions, or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere of this charming town.

We recommend a full-day excursion to El Chalten, a picturesque village nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Fitz Roy.

This exciting excursion begins with a 7:00 AM departure from El Calafate. We'll travel along the iconic Route 40, following the shores of Lake Argentino to the La Leona River. We'll stop at the historic La Leona Hotel, a landmark on Route 40, where you can enjoy a coffee and some delicious pastries.

Continuing our journey along Lake Viedma, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of glaciers, hidden lakes, and the awe-inspiring Mount Fitz Roy. We'll make photo stops at viewpoints overlooking the Viedma Glacier and Lake.

After a scenic 3-hour drive, we'll arrive in El Chalten, known as the "Trekking Capital." Upon arrival, we'll stop at the National Park Interpretation Center to learn more about this unique region.

The remainder of the day will be spent exploring El Chalten according to your chosen activities.

Day 14 - El Calafate - Ushuaia

Today, we embark on our journey to Ushuaia. A transfer will take us to El Calafate Airport (FTE) for our flight to Ushuaia (USH). Upon arrival in Ushuaia, we will be met by a transfer that will take us to our centrally located hotel.

The remainder of the day is yours to explore Ushuaia at your own pace. You can choose from a variety of optional excursions or simply enjoy the charming atmosphere of the city center.

Day 15 - Beagle Channel Boat trip

Today, we embark on a captivating boat tour of the Beagle Channel.

After breakfast, we'll walk to the pier and board our vessel. Our first stop is Alicia Island, where we'll observe a colony of South American sea lions.

Next, we'll sail to Bird Island, home to a thriving community of king shags and imperial shags. During the breeding season (spring to fall), we may even witness their chicks.

We'll then continue to another small island, where we might spot South American fur seals, depending on the season.

A highlight of the tour is Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, a landmark of Ushuaia built in 1919. From here, we'll enjoy views of the island inhabited by rock shags.

On our return journey, we'll disembark at Bridges Island. We'll explore an interpretive trail, learning about the history of the indigenous Yamana people and their cultural significance. This island boasts the region's largest Yamana "concheros" (shell middens).

We'll then ascend to the highest point on the island, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia in the distance.

Throughout the tour, we'll be treated to refreshments including coffee with liquor, various teas, delicious hot chocolate with biscuits and cookies, and, of course, the traditional Argentine beverage, mate.

Day 16 - Tierra del Fuego National Park with train

Today, we embark on a journey to the "End of the World" aboard the iconic Tren del Fin del Mundo (End of the World Train).

Leaving Ushuaia, we'll travel along National Route No. 3, heading southwest towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. After crossing the Pipo River bridge, we'll arrive at the train station and board this legendary train.

The journey unfolds through a captivating landscape of lenga forests and peat bogs. We'll reach Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca), a glacial lake nestled amidst mountains and forests, where we may spot native bird species.

The final stretch of the journey takes us to Bahía Lapataia. We'll cross the Cormorant Archipelago, navigate through peat bogs, and even encounter a beaver dam along the way.

In Bahía Lapataia, we'll explore the marine coast, rich in mollusks and mussels, and discover remnants of the ancient indigenous people who once inhabited this region. We'll have time to stroll along a scenic walkway, capturing breathtaking photos and soaking in the feeling of being at the very tip of South America.

Finally, we'll return to our accommodation in Ushuaia.
